Bill Weaver opened Live Oak Interiors in September, 2003. After 27 years as a manufacturers' rep in the flooring industry and four years in a retail store, Bill moved to Rockport, Texas to retire. In the process of remodeling their own home, Bill and his wife, Jeane, realized that a lot of the product selections available in larger metropolitan areas could not be found in Rockport or Corpus Christi. Always the entrepreneur, Bill saw an excellent opportunity to bring his 30+ years of experience to homeowners and designers in the Coastal Bend.
Live Oak Interiors Abbey Flooring Center in Rockport is located on Business Hwy 35 across the street from Shop the World, and next door to Tackle Town. Our Abbey Flooring Center specializes in quality floor covering and interiors including: kitchen and bathroom renovations, countertop surfaces, plumbing faucets & fixtures, window coverings, and more.
Live Oak Interiors has the largest selection of tile in the area with thousands of styles and colors. Hard surface flooring options include ceramic and porcelain tile, and natural stone. Choose from tile, slate, granite, marble, travertine, limestone, and other natural stone. For softness underfoot our selections include nylon, wool, and wool-blend carpeting, also available as Area Rugs.
Besides Tile and Natural Stone, other hard surface flooring options include hardwood, laminate, bamboo, cork, linoleum, and luxury vinyl tile & plank. If you're looking for 'green' products, cork, bamboo and linoleum are environmentally-friendly, renewable resources, and many of our carpets can be recycled.
